Principal's Message
Principal Nick Herblet

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,
Welcome to the New School Year!
It is my absolute pleasure to welcome our students, families, and community members back to Sturgis High School for another exciting year. As I enter my 27th year in education and my 8th year as Principal of Sturgis High School, my commitment to our students’ success, growth, and well-being remains as strong as ever. I am deeply honored to continue leading such an incredible school community.
At Sturgis High School, we are dedicated to providing every student with a clear path toward their future goals through pathways tailored to their individual strengths and learning styles. We offer robust opportunities to fit every aspiration—including EDGE, our alternative education program, alongside a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Dual Enrollment Courses, Early Middle College, and hands-on Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. These pathways give our students a distinct advantage, allowing them to earn college credits, gain valuable real-world skills, and thrive in environments built for their success.
Beyond the classroom, we believe that quality high school experience involves getting involved and finding your passion. We take immense pride in our Trojan culture and encourage every student to take advantage of our diverse offerings in athletics, clubs, and the visual and performing arts. These programs build teamwork, confidence, and lifelong memories.
Education is a team effort, and our strong partnership with families is at the heart of everything we do. I encourage you to stay connected, engage with our school community, and reach out to our team whenever you need support.
Thank you for your continued partnership. Together, let’s make this a standout school year filled with growth, achievement, and Trojan pride!
Warm regards,
Nick Herblet
